With RBA surcharge changes fast approaching, the Australian Travel Industry Association is preparing to deliver key information to corporate travel professionals.
The next ATMC meeting will feature speakers from businesses that are paving the way as the industry prepares for the changes to come into effect on October 1.
“The most pressing challenge now is the incoming RBA surcharge changes,” said David Goldman, ATMC Chair.
“Our members want practical steps and insights to help them manage the new payment landscape, which is why our next meeting is getting such a great response.”
Speakers for the meeting include:
# American Express – Robert Tedesco, Vice President and General Manager
# Mint Payments – Alex Teoh, CEO and Managing Director
# WEX – Rachel Jones, Director Travel Partnerships
Each speaker will deliver information and insights tailored to corporate travel professionals.
With the surcharge changes set to be a significant shake-up for the travel industry, ATIA is equipping members with the highest level of advice.
More than a deep dive into the nature of the surcharge changes, guest speakers will share ways to prepare for the changes, while also highlighting the potential opportunities from October 1.
“The RBA surcharge changes will impact all our members differently,” said Dean Long, ATIA CEO.
“This ATMC meeting is one all corporate members should attend, given the amazing guest speakers. This will be information that is essential to preparing your business before the surcharging ban takes effect.”
The ATMC meeting will take place at the Sofitel, Melbourne, on July 30.
