Hong Kong has launched a month-long dining campaign featuring more than 400 restaurants, bars and food outlets across the city following the recent Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival.
Running throughout November, Hong Kong Gourmet Month includes five themed experiences spanning Michelin-recognised dining, neighbourhood restaurants, late-night food, cocktails and Lan Kwai Fong nightlife.
More than 200 restaurants are participating in the Taste More Hong Kong program, with selected lunch and dinner menus discounted by up to 30%.
A further 100-plus venues are included in a late-night dining guide featuring offers after 9pm across areas including Central, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, Tsim Sha Tsui, Mongkok and Kowloon City.
The program also includes 15 specially created wine-pairing menus from participating chefs and sommeliers, while Cocktail Fest Month features 30 bars across six themed routes.
Guests can pay $HK399 (approx. $70) to visit three participating venues and receive a signature drink at each.
More than 20 restaurants and bars in Lan Kwai Fong are also taking part with special offers, mixology workshops, themed evenings and DJ performances.
Peter Lam, Hong Kong Tourism Board Chairman, said the campaign was designed to extend the impact of the Wine & Dine Festival, which attracted more than 171,000 visitors.
“We hope the campaign will give locals and visitors alike even more reasons to explore our neighbourhoods and spend locally, creating more business opportunities for the F&B and tourism-related sectors, and fully unleashing the synergies of the mega-event economy,” he added.
