Dolly Parton’s life, career and enduring legacy are being celebrated in new attractions in Nashville.
Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel and Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum have officially opened, six weeks after the superstar passed away.
The opening was commemorated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring children whose lives have been enriched by Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, bringing together Dolly’s commitment to music, storytelling and inspiring future generations.
The hotel and museum bring together accommodation, live entertainment and an extensive exhibition of the entertainer’s life and career under one roof.
Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel features 240 rooms and suites, alongside SongTeller Café, dining venues and two live entertainment spaces. Parton’s Live focuses on music and performance, while rooftop venue Jolene’s offers a more intimate setting for live entertainment.
The adjoining Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum spans more than 1,800-square-metres and traces Dolly’s story from her childhood in the Great Smoky Mountains through her music, film, television, fashion, philanthropy and family life.
The exhibition includes memorabilia, personal stories, multimedia installations and material from different stages of her career.
The singer was closely involved in the development of both the hotel and museum, contributing memories and creative input throughout the project.

Shannon Foster, SongTeller Hotel General Manager, said the property was designed to reflect the way Dolly has connected with audiences throughout her career.
“To open these doors and share her story with guests from around the world is an incredible privilege and we hope every guest leaves with a memory, a song or a story of their own that they carry with them long after their stay,” Ms Foster said.
The museum occupies the third floor of the hotel and has its own dedicated entrance. It is also available for private events including weddings, receptions and business gatherings.
