Travel advisors across Australasia are being invited to a trade webinar focused on helping families experience more of Tokyo beyond its major theme parks.
The session on September 2 will cover common family travel questions, including which neighbourhoods suit different travellers, accommodation options, getting around the city and how to build well paced itineraries.
Advisors will also hear about interactive museums, character attractions, cultural experiences, food options and waterfront areas that can be incorporated into family holidays.
The webinar will be presented by Yukiko Arita, who regularly travels to Tokyo with her family and will share practical insights alongside destination recommendations.
Two live sessions will be available at 8.30am and 12pm (AEST) with each followed by a live Q&A.
Advisors attending live will also have the chance to win one of six prizes, including signed copies of Jane Lawson’s Secret Japan, bottles of Japanese sake and a $100 gift card.
