Air Tahiti is increasing flight frequencies between Tahiti and Rarotonga, Cook Islands, from June 29. Two additional weekly rotations will be offered until the end of the year, with four flights per week.

This increased service is designed to offer travellers greater flexibility and choice between these two Polynesian archipelagos.

A new mixed cargo ship operated by cruise company Aranui will set sail for the remote Austral Islands in the first half of 2027. With its 93 cabins, including 62 with balconies, the Aranoa will be able to accommodate up to 198 passengers while carrying freight.
