Qantas has launched a major international sale, with more than 400,000 discounted seats to more than 30 destinations across its global network.
The week-long sale spans the Pacific, Asia, North and South America, offering competitive fares across economy, premium economy, business and first class for travel on select dates between August and June 2027.
Economy one-way fares start from $359 from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast to Auckland, for travellers looking to book their next trans-Tasman getaway to New Zealand.
For the first time, sale fares are available on Qantas’ new nonstop Sydney to Las Vegas service, with economy return fares starting from $1,199.
Qantas will become the first airline in the world to operate a non-stop route between Australia and Las Vegas, with its seasonal service running from December 29 – March 12, 2027, and saving customers up to five hours in travel time by eliminating the need for connections through another U.S. city.
The new service will operate three times per week on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday and opens the ultimate long weekend travel option to the Entertainment Capital of the World.
Other economy return fares start from:
# $879 from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to Singapore, for travellers planning a city break in one of Asia’s most popular stopover destinations.
# $1,249 from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to Tokyo, giving holidaymakers a direct path to one of Japan’s most exciting cities.
# $1,399 from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne to Vancouver, with the Sydney service flying nonstop and opening up easier access to Canada’s west coast.
# $1,799 from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide to Santiago, for those chasing a South American adventure.
“This sale is about giving Australians more choice when it comes to booking their next international trip, whether that’s a bucket-list trip to South America or a quick weekend escape to Auckland,” said Cam Wallace, Qantas CEO International.
“For the first time, our nonstop Sydney to Las Vegas service is included in a sale. With our flights departing Sydney on Friday and returning on a Sunday it enables a new long weekend travel option in one of the world’s most iconic cities.
“It’s also a great chance to lock in fares to some of our most popular international destinations, from Bali and Tokyo to Vancouver and Santiago.”
Qantas fares include checked baggage and complimentary food and beverages. Sale fares are for travel on select dates between July 28 and June 30, 2027, with select blackout dates, and are available until 11:59pm (AEST) August 4, unless sold out prior.
“For Australians looking to escape the peak of summer, Qantas is making Las Vegas an even more compelling getaway,” said Steve Hill, President and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority Las Vegas Tourism.
“January and February offer comfortable weather, ideal for hiking and exploring the surrounding desert landscapes. Beyond that, visitors can take in world-class entertainment and dining. It’s the perfect time to experience the electric energy of Las Vegas.”
