Viking has launched a new Flights on Us promotion, giving Australian and New Zealand travellers included economy airfares valued at up to $2,800 per person on selected river, ocean and expedition voyages departing between 2027 and 2029.
Available from 5 August until eligible staterooms are sold out, the offer spans itineraries across Europe, Alaska, Egypt, Antarctica and South America, giving travel advisors another reason to encourage clients to secure their preferred voyage well ahead of departure.
“Airfare is often one of the biggest costs people factor into an overseas trip, so having flights included takes some of that pressure away,” Viking ANZ Managing Director Michelle Black said.

Among the river cruise options included is Viking’s eight-day Rhine Getaway, sailing between Basel and Amsterdam. Departures are available from 19 March 2027, with prices from $4,995 per person in a Standard Stateroom.
Clients looking to travel further back in time can choose the 12-day Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary, sailing roundtrip from Cairo from 7 June 2027. Prices start from $11,695 per person in a Standard Stateroom.
At sea, Viking’s new eight-day Spain & Portugal Discovery itinerary travels between Lisbon and Barcelona, with departures from 9 December 2027 and prices from $6,595 per person in a Veranda Stateroom.
Alternatively, the 11-day Alaska & the Inside Passage voyage sails between Vancouver and Seward. Departures are available from 11 September 2027, priced from $10,795 per person in a Veranda Stateroom.
The offer also extends to selected expedition voyages. The 13-day Antarctic Explorer, travelling roundtrip from Ushuaia with a hotel stay in Buenos Aires, is priced from $21,395 per person in a Nordic Balcony Stateroom, with departures from 10 November 2028.
The 13-day Chilean Fjords & Scenic Shores itinerary sails from Santiago to Ushuaia from 5 November 2027. Prices start from $15,795 per person in a Nordic Balcony Stateroom.
In addition to the included economy airfares offered through the promotion, Viking fares include a shore excursion in every port, beer, wine and soft drinks with lunch and dinner, complimentary Wi-Fi and gratuities.
