A monthly floating sound bath series will begin at InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach on September 3, opening the hotel’s pool deck to both local visitors and staying guests.
The 75 minute sunset sessions will take place in the heated infinity pool overlooking Coogee Beach. Led by sound bath healer Bess Wittingslow, each session combines gentle movement, therapeutic sound and time on the water.
Non hotel guests can book paid tickets, with floating boards priced at $159 per person, luxury loungers at $89 per person and double cabanas at $199 for two people. Yoga mat tickets will also be available while places remain.
Hotel guests will receive complimentary access to selected sessions as part of their stay, subject to availability, with access to the double cabanas. The release does not indicate that every session or ticket type will be complimentary for staying guests.
The series will run at 6pm on the first Thursday of each month at 242 Arden Street, Coogee. Advance bookings are recommended due to the limited number of boards, loungers and cabanas.
