A 335 per cent surge in demand for India trips among Australian travellers has led Inspiring Vacations to launch four new fully escorted small-group tours of the country.
Itineraries range from an eight-day Kerala escape to a 26-day Nepal and India odyssey.
Brendon Cooper, Inspiring Vacations Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder, said India was capturing more Australian imaginations than ever.
“From iconic landmarks to incredible food, every part of India offers something unique. We’ve designed the new Immersive India range to take the stress out of planning, so travellers can focus on the journey,” Mr Cooper said.
The eight-day ‘Kerala’s Backwaters Small Group Tour’ starts from $2,495 per person twin share, exploring Fort Kochi, an overnight private houseboat through the backwaters and the spice-scented hills of Thekkady.
The 17-day ‘India’s Northern Heritage Small Group Tour’ starts from $6,045 per person, with a special founder-led departure on September 29, 2027, hosted by Mr Cooper.
The itinerary covers Amritsar’s Golden Temple, the Attari-Wagah Border ceremony, the Taj Mahal, the ghats of Varanasi and the forts and palaces of Rajasthan, ending in lakeside Udaipur.
The 23-day ‘India’s Northern Heritage and Kerala’ tour combines both journeys from $7,995 per person, while the 26-day ‘Nepal and India Northern Heritage’ tour from $9,445 per person begins in the Himalayas before crossing into India for Varanasi, Old Delhi and the Taj Mahal.
All tours are capped at 16 guests with expert local guides, four- and five-star hotels and arrival and departure transfers included.
