Bunnik Tours have hosted a group of Flight Centre Future Team Leaders (FTLs) for an engaging and hands-on experience.

Kate Thornburg and Walter Delorie, Bunnik’s NSW Business Development Managers, attended the session to provide an update on the company’s latest offerings, with a particular focus on Asia and South America tours.

The presentation highlighted the benefits of small group touring and the value of travelling with an Australian, family-owned operator, especially in today’s climate.

Following the update, attendees were treated to a curated ‘Bunnik Tours special experience’ at Casa Ristorante in Sydney’s King Street Wharf.

The group took part in an interactive pizza-making masterclass, led by Chef Michael, who guided them through the process of creating the perfect pizza – from kneading and stretching dough to mastering the art of tossing it.

The experience mirrored one of the special experiences featured on the 24-day ‘Italian Discovery’ itinerary, where travellers enjoy a hands-on cooking class in Sorrento – offering agents a taste of the immersive, local experiences included on tour.

The session encouraged creativity, with each participant crafting their own unique pizza using a variety of toppings.

The event was attended by Flight Centre representatives from across the region, including team members from Nowra, Corrimal, Figtree, Revesby, Shellharbour, Southgate, Sydney International Airport, Wollongong and Zetland, alongside Flight Centre Area Leader Toni Laulu.

“The product update was really informative and the pizza-making was a fun way to connect and unwind together,” said Mark Kissas from Flight Centre Zetland. “I really enjoyed the day.”

“We had a fantastic time hosting the Flight Centre FTLs and sharing a comprehensive update on Bunnik Tours,” Ms Thornburg said.

“There was plenty of fun throwing dough and creating our own pizzas – a great way to showcase what makes our experiences unique while strengthening those important relationships.”
