Jetstar is offering special fares to Bali to mark an historic first flight.
The airline’s first-ever direct flight from Newcastle to Bali took off today, marking a major milestone for the Hunter region.
The new service will operate three times a week on Jetstar’s modern A321LR aircraft, delivering more than 70,000 seats each year between the destinations.
“This route means more convenience and more choice for our customers, and it’s another step in our mission to help Aussies takeoff more,” said Stephanie Tully, Jetstar Group CEO.
The launch comes just two weeks after Jetstar’s announcement of a new seasonal route between Newcastle and Hobart which takes-off on December 2.
To celebrate the inaugural flight, the budget carrier is launching a 24-hour First Flight Sale with one-way fares from Newcastle to Bali (Denpasar) available from midday (AEDT) today from $215 at jetstar.com.
Sale ends 12pm (AEDT) October 22, unless sold out.
