Q: Why did you think it was important for the future of your business to join an agency network?

A: Jetsetter Travel has always valued its affiliation with an agency network. However, as the business continues to evolve, ensuring alignment with the right network – one that supports every facet of our operations – has become increasingly important.

Q: What were the deciding factors that made you pick Travellers Choice?

A: There were several factors. The group’s strong supplier infrastructure and transparent business model provide a solid foundation for Jetsetter Travel’s continued growth and collaboration.

Additionally, the proximity to highly experienced/long standing agencies and industry professionals within the network ensures ongoing support, knowledge sharing and best practice alignment.

The high calibre of the Travellers Choice community, coupled with excellent override incentives, made it the perfect fit.

Q: How do you think the travel industry is looking as we end another year?

A: I believe the travel industry is closing the year on a strong and optimistic note. With the right strategies in place, it is well-positioned to continue thriving and evolving.

Q: What are some of the major challenges facing travel agents and the industry going forward?

A: Like many service industries, travel is experiencing rapid change driven by shifting traveller expectations and global trends, as well as technological advances, making adaptability essential.

There will always be a place for highly specialised service – the kind that delivers meaningful human connection, clear communication, personalised guidance, a sense of deep care and high-touch experiences.

Leading a brand that truly stands out in today’s travel landscape requires doing things differently and maintaining a consistent commitment to growth, evolution and delivering continued excellence (prioritising authenticity, value and purpose over volume).

In such a fast-paced industry, businesses built on strong, value-driven principles will continue to earn trust, foster loyalty and stand the test of time.

Q: What is it about the travel industry that you love so much and that keeps you motivated?

A: What I love most about the travel industry is its constant energy, evolution and the meaningful connections it creates.

Travel is one of life’s greatest gifts – it teaches us about the world, shapes our character and enriches our lives in ways that are essential to living fully and beautifully.

Being able to guide others in experiencing this gift is a true honour and a trust and responsibility I never take lightly.

I’m also inspired by the calibre of people in the industry and the dedication required to deliver excellence – a skillset that’s often underrated and developed through years of experience and problem-solving.

No two days are ever the same; each client, journey and experience brings fresh challenges and opportunities.

What keeps me motivated is the chance to turn dreams into reality, create experiences that leave a lasting impact and witness the incredible joy that travel brings.

It’s also the opportunity to build a distinctive, trusted brand within the Australian travel industry that truly stands out and isn’t afraid to do things differently.

Q: What plans do you have for the future of your business?

A:  We are planning a soft brand re-launch in the coming quarter to more effectively connect with our ideal clientele.

Refining our brand and engaging with clients who align with our market niche is essential as it supports sustainable growth and ensures strong alignment with our brand values, offering end-to-end travel planning in the right sector of the market.

Advances in technology to better enhance our service offering are key aspects also.

Q: Do you have any exciting travel plans for 2026 that you can share with us

A: Absolutely! In February 2026, I’ll be exploring the UK, France and The Netherlands, with a fun stopover in the Maldives before heading home.

It promises to be a perfect mix of cultural discovery, amazing cuisine and a little well-deserved relaxation in paradise – though I’m sure the laptop keyboard will be glued to all 10 fingers, because even when I’m away, my clients are always front of heart and mind.
