HX Expeditions has appointed Cinzia Amadio as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, reinforcing the expedition cruise company’s commitment to a more connected brand experience for guests and trade partners.

Reporting directly to CEO Gebhard Rainer and joining the executive team, Ms Amadio will drive stronger alignment across brand strategy, digital performance and trade communications, connecting every stage of the HX guest journey from first inspiration through to post-voyage.

Mr Rainer said Ms Amadio brought a unique combination of skills to the role.

“She brings a unique combination of digital expertise, brand-building capability, and deep experience in both the luxury and cruise sectors, which will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen the guest experience and grow the business,” Mr Rainer said.

Ms Amadio said she was excited to return to an industry she fell in love with.

“There’s a real opportunity to build on the strong brand foundations already in place and connect brand storytelling, marketing performance, and digital capability more closely. By working together across these areas, we can deliver clearer, more consistent experiences for our guests and strengthen every stage of their journey with HX,” Ms Amadio said.

Ms Amadio brings nine years of experience at Silversea across global marketing, consumer and trade marketing and expedition business development, most recently serving as Chief Marketing and Growth Officer at ultra-luxury safari company ROAR Africa.
