Drawing inspiration from the four corners of her new itineraries, the energy of New York, the passion of Miami, the sparkle of Los Angeles and the untamed adventure of Alaska, Brilliant Lady has been thoughtfully designed as a celebration of shared discovery.

From reimagined gathering spaces and intimate dining experiences to views meant to be enjoyed together, every detail invites Sailors to slow down, connect and create unforgettable memories.

“We asked ourselves: how do we create spaces where strangers become friends and quiet moments become cherished memories?” said Erin Barton, Director of Design at Virgin Voyages.

“Brilliant Lady’s transformation is our love letter to the social soul of travel, designed to spark conversations, encourage lingering and celebrate the beautiful unpredictability of human connection.”

The Roundabout is the heart of Brilliant Lady. Deep navy banquettes and jewel-toned seating create intimate conversation clusters, while warm wood accents add that perfectly imperfect touch that makes spaces feel lived-in and loved.

The ship’s Draught Haus has been reimagined as a social anchor at sea, home to a thoughtful craft brew selection, barista-made coffees and a full bar, creating an all-day hub for connection.

In the Athletic Club, Virgin removed an entire wall to create an uninterrupted glass canvas facing the stern. Circular daybeds now face outward so friends can witness glacier calving together, spot whales as a group and watch Northern Lights paint the sky while wrapped in cosy throws.

Rojo celebrates Spain’s convivial culture and the tradition of turning meals into conversations and conversations into connections. Terracotta and crimson hues create warmth, while custom line artwork tells stories across the walls.

The dedicated lounge area perfectly captures the Spanish art of lingering, with tapas-style sharing plates and intimate seating clusters.

When space became precious, Virgin got creative with connection. The reimagined Sea Terrace balconies feature two red hammock chairs instead of one – because the best views are meant to be shared.
