Solo escorted touring specialist Just You has launched a new online community platform designed to help travellers connect before, during and after their holidays.
Called Kindred, the platform has been developed as a dedicated social hub for solo travellers, providing reassurance, inspiration and practical support for guests considering travelling alone. Users can share experiences, exchange travel tips and connect with fellow travellers through dedicated trip specific chat groups.
The platform is available to past, current and future guests and can be accessed via desktop as well as Apple and Android mobile devices. Just You said it is the first travel company to integrate this type of technology into the customer journey.
Trip chats allow guests booked on the same itinerary to introduce themselves before departure, stay connected while travelling and continue conversations after returning home. Just You Holiday Directors also join chats shortly before departure to help guests prepare for their trip.

Tom Morgan, Trade Sales Director at Just You, said the platform reinforces the company’s approach to solo travel.
“Kindred perfectly demonstrates that travelling solo doesn’t mean travelling alone,” Morgan said.
“Designed from the ground up as a social connection tool, it is a dedicated space where clients connect with fellow travellers, their destination and local communities.”
The launch comes as Just You continues its expansion in Australia following its market entry in late 2025. The escorted touring specialist has been operating in the UK for more than 25 years and now has a presence across the UK, Canada and Australia.

According to Managing Director Adam Kemp, the company’s core audience is affluent travellers aged over 50 who are increasingly seeking authentic, boundary pushing experiences while enjoying the confidence and convenience of escorted travel.
Just You’s product is designed exclusively for solo travellers, with no single supplements and a guaranteed twin or double room for every guest. Australian travellers can choose from around 100 itineraries worldwide ranging from four to 21 days. Tours include accommodation, transfers, sightseeing experiences and the services of a dedicated Holiday Director.
The company says around 70 per cent of its guests are female and between 55 and 60 per cent are repeat customers. Accommodation is predominantly four star, reflecting the premium positioning of the brand.
To date, Italy and Croatia have emerged as the most popular destinations among Australian guests.
For over 25 years, Just You has focused exclusively on the solo travel market, with every traveller guaranteed their own room and no requirement to pay a single supplement. The company says this combination of independence, social connection and curated experiences continues to resonate strongly with the growing solo travel sector.
