Rocky Mountaineer has launched a new 10-day luxury package for 2027, combining its First Passage to the West rail journey with Fairmont hotel stays, private touring and premium transfers across Western Canada.
First Passage to the West: Rockies Refined will operate between Vancouver and Calgary, with stops including Lake Louise, Banff and Kamloops.
The package is available exclusively in GoldLeaf Service, with two days aboard Rocky Mountaineer featuring panoramic dome windows, regionally inspired dining and onboard service.
Accommodation includes guaranteed Fairmont Gold Rooms, with a limited number of lakeview rooms available at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.
Eastbound journeys begin with two nights at Fairmont Waterfront in Vancouver and a private city tour before guests board the train for the journey towards Kamloops and the Canadian Rockies.
Guests then continue to Lake Louise for two nights, followed by Banff and a stay at Fairmont Banff Springs before finishing in Calgary at Fairmont Palliser. Private transfers and sightseeing are included throughout the itinerary.
The journey can also be booked in reverse, beginning in Calgary and finishing in Vancouver.
Rockies Refined is designed for travellers seeking a more private and fully arranged version of the traditional rail journey, with accommodation, transfers and touring bundled into a single itinerary.
The new package is now available for selected 2027 departures, with limited availability.
