Virgin Australia has been recognised as the Most Trusted Travel & Tourism Brand in the 2025 Roy Morgan Trusted Brand Awards, marking the third year in a row the airline has received the honour.
Virgin Australia first claimed the award in 2023 and has maintained its position ever since, with travellers continuing to rate the airline highly for reliability, customer service and transparency. Roy Morgan CEO Michele Levine said the airline’s reputation had “powered out of the pandemic period with a reputation for trust far ahead of its rivals in the sector.”
According to Roy Morgan’s research, travellers praised Virgin Australia as “down-to-earth, approachable, and with a good track record,” as well as “the most reliable of airlines in terms of flight times,” noting the company’s prompt compensation in cases of cancellation.
Virgin Australia’s Chief Marketing Officer, Libby Minogue, said the award reflected the trust placed in the airline by its customers and the dedication of its 8,000-strong workforce. “This recognition reflects the trust our guests place in us every day, and it’s something we’ll never take for granted,” she said.
Conducted annually by Melbourne-based research firm Roy Morgan, the Trusted Brand Awards highlight the organisations that maintain strong consumer confidence in a fast-changing marketplace.
Virgin Australia’s threepeat in the travel and tourism category puts it well ahead of its competitors as Australians’ most trusted airline brand.
