It’s a season of fresh talent and new beginnings in the Australian travel trade, with three industry professionals stepping into key leadership roles across Airbnb, Sno’n’Ski Holidays and Adventure World.

Kevin Looney joins Airbnb as APAC Lead, Acquisition for Airbnb Experiences

Kevin Looney has been appointed as the APAC Lead, Acquisition for Airbnb Experiences, just as the global rollout of the new Airbnb Experiences platform begins. This revamped platform signals a bold new chapter for Airbnb, putting greater focus on high-quality, locally led experiences that connect travellers more meaningfully with destinations.

Kevin, formerly Global Sales Director at Flight Centre’s Infinity Holidays, brings extensive wholesale travel expertise to the role. “I feel incredibly lucky to be part of this next chapter, focused on building and scaling our Experiences marketplace across Asia Pacific – working with hosts, partners and local experts to drive sustainable growth and deliver real value to travellers and communities,” he said.

Luke Pritchard promoted to General Manager of Sno’n’Ski Holidays

Sno’n’Ski Holidays has promoted long-serving team member Luke Pritchard to General Manager. With over 15 years in the ski travel sector – including nine years at Sno’n’Ski – Luke is well-placed to lead the company into its next phase.

Managing Director Daniel Walker praised the appointment, saying: “Luke has been instrumental in rebuilding Sno’n’Ski Holidays back to pre-pandemic levels.”
Luke added, “We have become more efficient, more productive, and are offering a much larger range of ski products to our agency partners.” His appointment marks a new era as the company continues to strengthen its position as Australia’s leading snow travel provider.

Adventure World appoints Sasha McAlister as Marketing Manager

Adventure World, known for its tailored journeys and responsible travel ethos, has named Sasha McAlister as its new Marketing Manager. Sasha joins the Sydney-based team and will report to Head of Marketing Liz Glover.
A seasoned marketer, Sasha brings valuable experience across content creation, public relations, brand partnerships and campaigns. She joins Adventure World after three and a half years at Contiki, also part of The Travel Corporation (TTC).

“I’m so excited to bring that energy into my new role at Adventure World,” said Sasha. “Their focus on purposeful, responsible travel really aligns with the kind of impact I want to make and where I’m at in my career.”

Liz Glover welcomed the appointment, saying: “Her proven passion for travel, creative flair, and genuine commitment to responsible tourism make Sasha the ideal person to further amplify our mission of creating truly meaningful travel experiences.”
