A new luxury retreat conceived by Australian entrepreneur John Singleton is opening this spring.

Just 45 minutes from Sydney, The Grand Saddles Lodge features 20 private villas, fine dining, a piano bar and a day spa in the bushland of Mount White on the Central Coast.

The property sits opposite the acclaimed Homestead at Saddles, named among the world’s most beautiful restaurants by Condé Nast Traveller, expanding the Saddles Mount White precinct into a complete luxury destination.

The Lodge features a glass-domed entrance opening into interiors of sandstone, spotted gum and warm brass.

Each villa has separate living spaces, an open fireplace, private terrace and plunge pool, with a communal infinity pool and pool bar overlooking the surrounding bushland.

The restaurant showcases Australian produce inspired by the surrounding landscape and nearby waterways, with fresh local seafood, premium organic beef and on-site herb and vegetable gardens informing the seasonal menu.

As evening falls, Ned’s, an intimate Art Deco-inspired piano bar anchored by a grand piano, offers classic cocktails, live jazz and refined bar plates.

The Spa at The Grand Saddles Lodge offers five treatment rooms, traditional and infrared saunas, ice baths and treatments inspired by native botanicals.

Beyond the retreat, guests can explore walking trails, visit nearby oyster farms and discover the Hawkesbury River.
