The countdown to the 2025 National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) is officially underway, with nominations now open and the industry invited to put forward its best and brightest.

In a celebration of the travel sector’s resilience, professionalism and innovation, nominations for the prestigious awards are submitted through a peer nomination process. That means anyone working in the Australian travel industry can nominate a colleague, supplier, trade partner or industry peer they believe deserves to be recognised.

The process is simple: complete the online nomination form with the full contact details (name, business, email, and phone number) for both yourself and your nominee. Only one nomination is needed to qualify – any additional nominations will not affect the outcome.

Nominations will remain open until 5:00pm AEST on Wednesday, 21 May 2025.

Those who receive a nomination will be contacted via email in early June to confirm their eligibility and acceptance into the relevant category. At that point, nominees will also be given the opportunity to formally accept or decline the nomination.

Depending on the category, nominees may be required to provide a written or video submission, or complete a company profile. A full overview of the requirements for each award category is available via the NTIA website.

Once the required submission has been completed, nominees will be officially recognised.
