Princess Cruises has announced its 2027/28 South America season, with Majestic Princess set to sail six departures across four itineraries from October 2027 through January 2028.
The season spans 19 destinations across eight countries, with access to 15 UNESCO World Heritage Sites and overnight experiences in the Antarctic Peninsula.
Itineraries range from 15 to 37 days, with overnight stays in Buenos Aires on every sailing and late-night port calls in Rio de Janeiro, Lisbon and Ushuaia.
Jim Berra, Princess Cruises Chief Commercial Officer, said the season was designed to bring guests closer to the world’s most memorable landscapes.
“From the polar desert of Antarctica to the lively streets of Rio de Janeiro, Majestic Princess offers unforgettable experiences that combine adventure, enrichment and our friendliest service at sea,” he said.
The season opens with a 37-day South America Passage Grand Adventure departing Southampton, crossing the Atlantic with stops at Lisbon, the Canary Islands, Rio de Janeiro and Montevideo before concluding in San Antonio.
From there, guests can choose between 15-day Cape Horn and Glaciers of Patagonia voyages between Buenos Aires and Santiago, or 17-day Antarctica and South America roundtrip sailings from Buenos Aires.
Two cruise-tour options are also available, including a six-night Machu Picchu Explorer visiting Lima, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco, and a five-night Iguazu Falls Adventure taking in Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls and Rio de Janeiro.
Onboard naturalists will guide guests through the Antarctic Peninsula, sharing the history of the region and stories of the wildlife and landscapes appearing along the journey.
Destination-specific events include Argentine folkloric music, regional cuisine and a carnival festival celebration with samba dancers and interactive classes.
