Premium Comfort Lands For Brisbane Flyers

Singapore Airlines will introduce Premium Economy on one of its four daily return flights between Brisbane and Singapore from 1 November 2026, giving Queensland travellers another option for comfort and value on the popular route.

The upgrade will see flights SQ265 and SQ266 operated by the Airbus A350-900 Long Haul aircraft, which replaces the current Medium Haul model on that rotation. The Long Haul version features 42 Business Class, 24 Premium Economy and 187 Economy seats, compared with 40 Business and 263 Economy on the Medium Haul aircraft.

There will be no change to the existing departure or arrival times, with the adjustment forming part of Singapore Airlines’ Northern Winter 2026 schedule. The airline’s three other daily Brisbane services will continue to operate using the A350-900 Medium Haul aircraft.

The move follows Singapore Airlines’ frequency increase in June 2025, when three extra weekly flights were added to meet strong demand for travel to and from South East Queensland. The carrier now operates 28 weekly services between Brisbane and Singapore.

The new aircraft will offer travellers an enhanced onboard experience, with Premium Economy providing wider seats, extra legroom, upgraded dining and priority services.

Tickets for the updated schedule will be made available progressively through Singapore Airlines’ regular sales channels, subject to regulatory approval and operational requirements.
