Princess Cruises has officially launched its 2026-27 Australian summer season with Crown Princess sailing into Sydney Harbour today.
The ship arrived having completed her 114-night World Cruise, marking the first of four Princess ships to set sail in Aussie waters this summer.
Carrying 2,720 guests, Crown Princess sailed into the Emerald City after cruising 36,000 nautical miles around the globe.
Crown Princess will be joined by Royal Princess, Grand Princess and Coral Princess over the season ahead.
Royal Princess will return to her Sydney homeport for her third season Down Under, while Grand Princess will be Australia’s next year-round Princess ship.
Coral Princess will visit as part of her World Cruise from Fort Lauderdale, bringing 2,500 American guests to Australia and New Zealand.
Across Princess Cruises’ Australian 2026-27 season, the line will operate 62 departures across 42 unique itineraries.
Matthew Rutherford, Princess Cruises Vice President Asia Pacific, said the start of the season marked an exciting summer ahead for Princess in Australia.

“Australia is one of the world’s great cruising destinations and there’s something special about experiencing it from sea.
“This season gives our guests the opportunity to explore an extraordinary range of destinations around the country, while also supporting the local communities and tourism businesses that make those experiences possible.”
Princess Cruises’ 2026-27 Australian summer season is expected to generate an estimated $231 million in economic impact across the country, supporting businesses, local producers, tourism operators and more.
The contribution forms part of the broader economic impact of cruise tourism, with a new report from the Australian Paddock to Port Alliance finding cruise lines contributed $7.32 billion to the Australian economy last financial year and directly supported 22,720 jobs.
The 2026-27 season gives Australian travel advisors a broad range of Princess holidays to offer their clients, spanning short coastal getaways and longer voyages across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
