Caribbean cruise guests will see a series of upgrades at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay this season, including a new Beach Club, food pavilion and refreshed beach facilities ahead of the destination’s 30th anniversary in 2027.
Holland America Line has completed a range of enhancements across the private island, with the new Beach Club due to open for bookings in early October.
Guests purchasing a day pass will receive priority tendering, dedicated waiter service, all-inclusive drinks, beach accessories and specialty food and beverage offerings.
A new food pavilion will also serve a complimentary island-inspired barbecue menu, while existing bars and eateries have been renovated.
Cabanas have been upgraded, with additional daybeds, canopy loungers and beach chairs added across the island.
Four pickleball courts introduced last season form part of the expanded recreational offering.
Beth Bodensteiner, Holland America Line President, said the changes were designed to build on the existing guest experience while introducing more choice ashore.
“Every enhancement at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay is centred on creating an even more exceptional experience while building on everything guests already love about the island,” Ms Bodensteiner said.
The upgraded destination will feature on more than two dozen Caribbean itineraries sailing between October and April 2027.
The cruise line is also offering selected Caribbean sailings under its Save on Sunshine promotion, with up to 50% off cruise fares and free kids’ fares on eligible departures.
