Royal Caribbean International has confirmed its cruise program for the 2026-27 season in Australia and New Zealand, with Anthem of the Seas returning to Sydney and Quantum of the Seas scheduled to resume operations from Brisbane in October 2026.
The season will run through to April 2027 and features a mix of short and extended itineraries to destinations across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. A 25-night transpacific sailing from Los Angeles to Brisbane is also available.
Gavin Smith, Vice President and Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand for Royal Caribbean International, said the cruise line continues to focus on offering flexible and varied options: “Australians know they can trust Royal Caribbean for getaways that combine convenience with adventure.
This season, we’re continuing to raise the bar with more short getaways, weekend departures, and more ways to maximise island time across the top destinations of the South Pacific.”
Quantum of the Seas will operate 28 departures ranging from three to eight nights out of Brisbane. The program includes visits to South Pacific locations such as Noumea, Port Vila and Mystery Island, as well as Queensland destinations including Cairns and Airlie Beach.
The upcoming season introduces more 7-night weekend departures to accommodate families and travellers seeking short to mid-length holidays.
Anthem of the Seas will offer 21 cruises from Sydney, ranging from three to 11 nights.
These include 4-night itineraries to Hobart, as well as extended cruises to New Zealand and the South Pacific. A new 9-night New Zealand itinerary features stops in Wellington, Napier, Dunedin and Milford Sound.
A highlight of the season is the 25-night repositioning cruise from Los Angeles to Brisbane on Quantum of the Seas.
This itinerary includes port calls in Hawaii, French Polynesia, and, for the first time for Royal Caribbean guests on an Australian sailing, Catalina Island off the coast of California.
Both ships are equipped with a wide range of onboard facilities, including dining venues, entertainment options, and leisure features such as the RipCord by iFly skydiving simulator, the FlowRider surf simulator and the North Star observation capsule.
