A popular Sunshine Coast hotel has relaunched with a new name, a new restaurant and a renewed focus on families.
The former Holiday Inn Express in Maroochydore is now operating as Holiday Inn and Suites Sunshine Coast.
Led by Pro-invest Group, the refresh introduces Nineteen Restaurant and Bar, a casual coastal dining space named in honour of the Horton Park golf course that once occupied the same site.
The restaurant serves a daily buffet breakfast and an all-day menu of coastal favourites including salt and pepper squid, steamed prawn dumplings, burgers and signature sundaes, with bi-fold windows opening onto Fairway Drive. Children aged 12 and under dine free when accompanied by an adult.

The hotel’s 181 guest rooms and suites have been refreshed with a beach-inspired palette featuring duck egg blue bedheads and coastal artworks.
“This transition allows us to offer a more elevated and comprehensive experience, while maintaining the core values our guests appreciate most: comfort, convenience, and consistent quality,” said Peter Manderson, Holiday Inn and Suites Sunshine Coast Hotel Manager.
The 41 one-bedroom suites offer a kitchenette, separate living area with sofa bed and, in select rooms, a private balcony.
The rooftop pool deck on level eight remains a standout feature, with a heated pool, open-air lounging and poolside bar with views over the Maroochydore skyline.
The ‘Holiday Inn Kids Stay and Eat Free’ program is also now available, with Sunshine Plaza 400 metres away and Cotton Tree Beach within walking distance.
