Regent Seven Seas Cruises has expanded its Australian sales team with the appointment of Anji Montgomerie (née Tierney) as Senior Business Development Manager for Queensland and the Northern Territory.

Montgomerie brings over 15 years of experience in the travel industry, having held key roles at global travel brands. Most recently, she served as Business Development Manager for the Globus Family of Brands, overseeing travel agency relationships across Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

In 2024, she was recognised as a finalist in the Most Outstanding Sales Executive (Land Supply – tour operator) category at the National Travel Industry Awards.

Based on the Gold Coast, Montgomerie will act as the primary liaison for Regent’s travel advisor partners in her designated regions, focusing on driving growth for the luxury cruise line.

“Regent Seven Seas Cruises is delighted to welcome Anji to the Australian Sales Team,” said Lisa Pile, Vice President of Sales & General Manager, Asia Pacific for Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “Anji will be a huge asset to our business, bringing a deep understanding of the travel industry to the role at a time when the company is entering an exciting new phase with the launch next year of the ultra-luxury Seven Seas Prestige™.”

Montgomerie expressed her enthusiasm about joining the team, stating, “I am thrilled to be joining the Regent Seven Seas Cruises team and working with existing and new partners across the region. This new role will allow me to transfer my skills gained in other areas of the travel industry to the luxury ocean cruise sector.”

The appointment comes as Regent Seven Seas Cruises prepares for the launch of its newest ship, Seven Seas Prestige™, set to debut in 2026. The vessel will introduce a new class of ultra-luxury cruising, featuring spacious suites, refined dining options, and immersive shore excursions.

With Montgomerie’s extensive experience and passion for travel, her addition to the team is expected to strengthen Regent’s presence in the Australian market and enhance relationships with travel advisors in Queensland and the Northern Territory.
