Nik Young, who has been with the business for 15 years, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, and Vanessa Dunham, who has been with the business for three years, has been promoted to General Manager, Corporate.

After 43 years leading the company, Barbara Whitten transitions to Founder, a senior adviser and brand representative in a non-operational capacity.

Under the new structure, Nik leads strategy, operations and performance across the group and continues to head up the leisure business, working closely with long-standing suppliers and the retail team.

Vanessa leads the corporate division end-to-end, including client experience, service standards, technology and growth. Client account teams remain unchanged.

“Anywhere Travel is in excellent hands,” said Barbara Whitten.

“I will support key relationships and represent our brand while day-to-day management sits with the leadership team.”

What this means for clients

  • Clear accountability. Day-to-day decisions sit with the CEO and leadership team.
  • Continuity. The same trusted account teams and service model.
  • Corporate uplift. More proactive insights, reporting and measurable programme outcomes.
  • Leisure continuity. The Leisure portfolio continues to be led by Nik Young and Steve Thompson, Head of Leisure Travel, with the retail team.
  • Continued investment in traveller safety, technology and supplier partnerships.

“Our focus is simple. Service without compromise, faster decisions and measurable value for travellers and programme owners,” said Nik Young.

We will keep investing in people, technology and partnerships that make both corporate and leisure travel easier and more effective.”
