G Adventures and National Geographic Expeditions have officially launched National Geographic Signature with G Adventures, a new collection of premium travel experiences created for culturally curious travellers who want more than a beautiful hotel and a highlights reel.
Now on sale, the collection features 32 trips across 28 destinations, with itineraries ranging from seven to 19 days. Options span Southern Africa and Peru to Japan, Costa Rica, Central Asia, Morocco, Vietnam and Egypt, with Palau also joining the line up as a new destination for G Adventures.
The new range draws on National Geographic’s long standing pillars of exploration, science, storytelling and education, paired with G Adventures’ decades of experience in community tourism. The result is positioned as a high end travel style that aims to go deeper than traditional luxury, combining elevated comfort with expert learning, rare access and experiences designed to benefit local communities.
Each trip is led by a National Geographic Expedition Leader and supported by National Geographic Expedition Experts, specialists whose backgrounds range from photographers and biologists to historians, archaeologists, conservationists and filmmakers. With many experts local to the destination, travellers can learn directly from people advancing research and cultural understanding on the ground.
The collection is built around Signature Moments, standout experiences that bring National Geographic storytelling to life. In Cambodia, travellers visit the restricted Conservation d Angkor centre to meet specialists restoring and repatriating stolen antiquities. In Morocco, guests can meet chef Najat Kaanache in Fez’s ninth century market, then explore Marrakech’s medina with an expert storyteller known for reviving the Moroccan art of Hikayat.
Accommodation across the collection is described as five star or best in region, chosen to reflect a sense of place without compromising comfort. Stays range from eco lodges and safari camps to historic riads, design forward hotels and retreats with UNESCO World Heritage views.
A portion of every booking supports the nonprofit National Geographic Society, with community focused inclusions intended to ensure local people benefit directly. In Peru, travellers visit the Caccaccollo Women’s Weaving Cooperative with Nilda Callañaupa Alvarez, a National Geographic Society grantee, to learn about preserving Indigenous Quechuan weaving traditions. In Egypt, guests can prepare traditional bread at Nawaya, a project supporting women in the agriculture sector, paired with a farm to table meal and discussion.
