The Luxury Travel Collection’s Harbour Soirée 2025 has been praised as the most inspiring and impactful to date.

The four-day event in Hong Kong was centred around this year’s theme of The Power of Influence.

The opening day set the tone for connection and collaboration, with delegates engaging in partner meetings and networking sessions before taking to the water for an afternoon cruise on Victoria Harbour.

That evening, Scenic Group hosted A Night of Ultra-Luxury at the renowned Aqua, with an event that honoured the shared pursuit of excellence between Scenic and LTC members.

Day two brought LTC’s independent business owners and Travel Associates leaders together to explore how influence, whether psychological, technological or cultural, can be channelled into leadership that drives performance, service excellence and creativity.

Danielle Galloway, FCTG’s Global Managing Director, Luxury & Independent Brands, challenged delegates to consider their own “Psychological Balance Sheet”, highlighting emotional intelligence as the foundation of meaningful influence.

“Influence is the currency of leadership and in luxury travel, it’s our ability to inspire teams and clients alike that sets us apart,” said Ms Galloway.

“Today’s leaders are not just managing experiences, they are shaping moments that transform lives.”

Simon Kriss, Chief AI Officer and author, delved into the human side of technology, demonstrating how generative AI can enhance efficiency while reinforcing empathy, intuition and creativity as uniquely human leadership traits.

A fireside conversation moderated by Rachel Kingswell, General Manager, Travel Associates Australia & New Zealand, featured LTC leaders Ivona Siniarska (Founder & Director, Take Off Go) and Christine Bottrell (Leader, TA Ashmore, Harris & James), who shared how authenticity and collaboration can transform influence into tangible business success and deeper client engagement.

Before members and partners returned home there was one last chance to experience Hong Kong through five bespoke destination immersions, each revealing a distinct facet of the city’s culture, creativity and modern luxury.

Delegates could explore the ancient art of Tai Chi, take in panoramic views from Victoria Peak, embark on luxury hotel hopping, or tantalise their tastebuds with dim sum masterclasses and curated culinary tours.
