The immersive, all-inclusive Solar Eclipse Voyage Collection will set sail in 2026 and 2027.
Guests will be guided by leaders in astronomy, physics and space exploration as they sail aboard Seven Seas Grandeur, Seven Seas Mariner, Seven Seas Navigator and Seven Seas Voyager
Four special sailings will offer guests views of the solar eclipse, with visibility percentages ranging from approximately 80% to 93%, on August 12, 2026.
A fifth sailing in 2027 will offer the opportunity to witness a total solar eclipse on August 2 as the path of totality passes through the Mediterranean.
Each sailing will feature enrichment programs, including thought-provoking presentations and intimate discussions with leading guest speakers such as NASA engineers and astronaut instructors, and a variety of curated activities such as stargazing sessions on deck.
“Our Solar Eclipse Voyage Collection offers luxury travellers a front-row seat to one of Earth’s most extraordinary natural events while enjoying the unrivalled Regent experience,” said Wes D’Silva, chief commercial officer, Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
From the open pool deck, travellers will witness these unique events in luxurious comfort as they sip a solar eclipse-themed punch with world-renowned experts.
During eclipse celebration hours, the Pool Grill will become the Solar Eclipse Dinner Grill, for a relaxed, dining option close to the action.
After witnessing natural history, guests can toast the eclipse at celebratory deck parties, under the open sky, complete with live music from Regent’s musicians and vocalists.
As a commemorative touch, Regent‑branded solar glasses will be gifted to participants as a keepsake to remember the moment.
Guests will also be treated to a special solar eclipse dessert in Compass Rose and an eclipse‑inspired cocktail will be available in all bars throughout the sailing.
