Qantas Loyalty has announced a strategic technology partnership with Expedia Group.

The move is set to transform the digital booking experience and technology capabilities across the Qantas Hotels & Holidays and Jetstar Holidays platforms.

Under the agreement, Expedia Group B2B will power Qantas’ end-to-end travel experience designed specifically for the Qantas Hotels and Holidays ecosystem.

Built on Expedia Group B2B’s Composable Agentic Template, customers will have a single place to book hotels and holiday packages, earn and redeem Qantas Points, and manage their entire trip.

The solution will deliver a faster, smarter, and more intuitive booking experience while unlocking new growth opportunities for hotel suppliers. New benefits will include:

* Deeper integration into the Qantas App and improved digital self-servicing capabilities

* Machine learning-powered property and holiday recommendations

* The ability to bundle holiday package bookings with premium cabin seating and partner codeshare flights

* Access to Expedia Group B2B’s technology to unlock ongoing new releases, ensuring Qantas Hotels & Holidays is evolving with the market

* First-of-its-kind capabilities providing Qantas and its hotel suppliers with more seamless connectivity options

“Qantas Hotels and Holidays continues to play a key role within the Qantas Group ecosystem, allowing millions of customers to connect their flights, stays and travel experiences into one seamless journey,” said Jayne Davey, Qantas Loyalty Executive Manager, Business to Consumer.

“Partnering with Expedia Group gives us access to world-class travel technology that will transform how our customers search, book and manage their trips.

“This solution not only allows for deeper customisation and smarter search tools, but it also provides the foundation we need to continuously innovate, deploy new features and support our long-term growth strategy.”

“Trust is the foundation of every successful partnership and our ongoing relationship with Qantas reflects the power of building together for the long term,” said Carolina Cabero, SVP Sales, Expedia Group B2B.

“By connecting supply, pricing, payments, loyalty and smarter digital experiences through one integrated platform, we’re giving Qantas the flexibility to innovate faster, deliver more personalised journeys and continue evolving Hotels & Holidays for the future.”

Build and integration work between Qantas Loyalty and Expedia Group B2B is currently underway, with the upgraded Hotels and Holidays platform scheduled to launch in H1 2027.
