The 2025 National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) have been run and won with some 40 awards handed out to the various category winners.

The sold-out event attracted 1,200 industry professionals from across Australia to celebrate travel’s ‘night of nights’ at The Star, Brisbane.

The event recognised outstanding achievement and innovation across Australia’s $69 billion travel industry, highlighting the passion, resilience and professionalism that continues to define the sector.

Among the many winners was Club Med (below), voted ‘Most Popular Accommodation Group’ for the second year in a row.

“This award belongs as much to our valued trade partners as it does to us with their trust, collaboration and guidance helping us continuously deliver the best experiences for our clients,” said Michelle Davies, General Manager for Club Med Pacific and New ESAP Markets.

“Club Med is more than a collection of resorts; we are a brand that values innovation, partnership and meaningful experiences.

“Looking ahead to 2026, our goal is to continue evolving, supporting our trade partners and thinking differently to make Club Med a seamless, joyful and accessible part of every holiday.”

The award for ‘Innovation in Travel Support Services’ went to travel insurance provider, nib Travel (below).

The award recognises the development and implementation of innovative solutions that leverage technology, client-centric strategies and unique offerings.

“We deeply value the trust our partners place in us and their continued advocacy for travel insurance as a vital part of the travel ecosystem – not just as a policy but as an essential layer of protection that gives travellers the confidence to explore the world,” said Dylan Wilkinson, Head of APAC & nib Travel Marketing.

“At nib Travel, we have made it our mission to remove friction from the travel insurance experience.

“This amazing recognition underscores the collective efforts of our team and partners to help protect and inspire more travellers and we remain committed to innovating alongside the industry to deliver even greater outcomes for our partners and customer.”

The 2026 NTIA will be held in Melbourne.
