Vanuatu Tourism Office is bringing its Tok Tok Vanuatu trade event to Australia for the first time with roadshow events planned for Brisbane and Sydney.

The program will run on October 13 and 14, connecting Vanuatu tourism operators with Australian travel advisors through destination updates, product information and networking.

The launch comes as arrivals from Australia continue to grow, with January 2026 visitor numbers up 42% compared with January 2020.

Tourism partners representing hotels, tour operators and attractions across Efate, Espiritu Santo and Tanna will take part, providing advisors with more information on selling travel across Vanuatu’s 83 islands.

Events will be held at Lina Rooftop in Brisbane and Ivy sunroom in Sydney, combining VIP daytime information sessions with evening networking.

Adela Issachar Aru, Vanuatu Tourism Office CEO, said bringing the event to Australia represented an important step in strengthening trade relationships.

“Tok Tok has always been about bringing people together over a love of Vanuatu and this October, we’re taking that spirit to Australia for the first time,” Ms Aru said.

“With 83 islands worth discovering, we can’t wait to put our operators in the room with the agents who help Australians answer the call of Vanuatu every day.”

Vanuatu will also participate in Travel Agent Day Australia in Melbourne on October 1, providing another opportunity for local operators to engage with the Australian trade.

Travel advisors interested in attending the Brisbane or Sydney roadshows must register by September 18.
