Ashleigh O’Reilly has joined Envoyage Australia as national marketing manager with Blake Newell stepping into a partnerships marketing lead at World360 Rewards.
Ms O’Reilly will take responsibility for all marketing activity across the Australian market and also joins the Australian regional leadership team.
Ashleigh brings more than 15 years of experience across marketing, sales, customer service and operations, most recently as Senior Marketing Manager at Infinity Holidays, where she reinvigorated brand reputation through sustained trade media coverage and grew the brand’s cooperative marketing efforts over 18 months.
Prior to joining Infinity, she spent 13 years at DriveAway Holidays, most recently as Head of Marketing, building B2B and B2C strategies across the Australian travel landscape.
“I’m excited to take everything I’ve learned throughout my career so far and apply it on a different stage, working with such a large and diverse network of independent advisors and agencies,” said Ms O’Reilly.
“It’s a chance to build marketing that genuinely helps hundreds of businesses grow, rather than just supporting a single brand.”
In her new role, Ms O’Reilly will lead the national marketing strategy for Envoyage Australia, working closely with global marketing specialists and counterparts across New Zealand, the USA, Canada and South Africa to support advisor acquisition and deliver marketing initiatives for members across the network.
Her appointment follows Mr Newell’s move into the new partnerships marketing role at World360 Rewards, the newly launched loyalty programme from Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) spanning Flight Centre, Travel Associates and Cruiseabout.
Mr Newell held the National Marketing Manager role at Envoyage Australia for three years before taking on the new position.
“Blake has been instrumental in building the marketing foundations that have carried Envoyage Australia through an important stage of growth,” said Allie Sparr, Global Head of Brand and Marketing, Envoyage.
“Watching him step into the Partnerships and Campaign Manager role at World360 Rewards feels like exactly the right move for someone with his talent and ambition. I’m glad to see him continue to build his career within the FCTG business.”
“My time with Envoyage has been genuinely rewarding,” said Mr Newell.
“I’ve had the chance to help build a marketing function through a period of rapid growth for the network and that taught me a lot about what it takes to scale a brand while keeping its community at the centre.
“I’m excited to carry that into my next chapter with World360 Rewards, joining right as the programme sets out on its own massive growth trajectory.”
