Regent Seven Seas Cruises® brought a new era of ultra-luxury cruising to Australian shores last week, unveiling its newest ship class, Seven Seas Prestige™, to a select group of travel agents and media at Sydney’s Langham Hotel.

The high tea event offered a first look at what Regent is calling “a new legacy” for the world’s most luxurious fleet, with Seven Seas Prestige™ introducing game-changing innovations, opulent design and unrivalled space at sea.

At 77,000 tons and accommodating just 822 guests, the Prestige is 40% larger than Regent’s Explorer-class ships but carries only 10% more passengers – offering one of the best space-to-guest ratios in the industry.

With 630 crew members, the ship also promises near-bespoke service with a guest-to-crew ratio of 1.31 to 1.

Lisa Pile, Regent’s VP of Sales and General Manager Asia Pacific, revealed standout features including the most lavish suite ever constructed on an all-inclusive cruise ship: the Skyview Regent Suite.

Spanning 817 square metres over two levels, this floating palace starts from $40,000 per night and includes two bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, a private elevator, gym, sauna, wraparound balcony and exclusive access to a private dining room, The Study.

Prestige will offer 12 suite categories, including four all-new types such as two-level Skyview Suites, modern Grand Loft Suites and the alfresco-focused Horizon Penthouse Suites. Every suite onboard boasts a private balcony.

Guests can choose from seven specialty restaurants and 11 dining experiences in total, including Azure, a new Mediterranean mezze-style venue. Public spaces like the dramatic Starlight Atrium and chic Galileo’s Bar round out the onboard experience.

As part of Regent’s “Most Inclusive Luxury Experience”, Prestige guests will enjoy unlimited shore excursions, fine wines and spirits, speciality dining, pre-paid gratuities, valet laundry, Starlink Wi-Fi and a pre-cruise hotel night for Concierge-level guests and above.
