Helloworld Travel recently played host to an international dignitary at their headquarters in Melbourne.
The Malaysian Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture dropped in to meet with key stakeholders across the business.
Minister Dato Sri Tiong King Sing (above, fifth from left) was accompanied by fellow Ministry officials and members of Tourism Malaysia.
The visit was to reinforce the strong partnership between Helloworld Travel and Malaysia as a destination for Australian travellers.
In attendance from Tourism Malaysia were Datuk Manoharan Periasamy (Director General), Mohd Akbal Setia (Director AERO Division) and Baizuri Baharum (Director of Tourism Malaysia Sydney).
Coinciding with the launch of Visit Malaysia 2026, trade events were also held in Melbourne and Sydney.
“We’re thrilled with the success of our recent cooperative campaign with Tourism Malaysia, which showcased the destination’s rich culture and diverse experiences to Australian travellers,” said Melissa Warren, Group General Manager Marketing Helloworld Travel.
“As we look ahead, we’re excited to continue this collaboration and play a key role in driving visitation and supporting Tourism Malaysia’s strategic goals for 2026.”
