There was a special guest at The Travel Corporation’s new Aussie headquarters recently when company chairman Carl Leaver arrived to officially unveil the Oceania hub.
Mr Leaver’s presence also brought together more than 110 team members from across the Asia-Pacific region to align on the next chapter of growth for the company’s travel brands.
During his visit, Carl met with employees from Australia, New Zealand, Asia and South Africa who gathered for a three-day conference focused on collaboration, innovation and the future direction of TTC Brands across the region.
The conference comes at a pivotal moment for the business, with teams preparing for significant initiatives across Contiki, Trafalgar and Uniworld, including upcoming brand relaunches, new customer experiences and continued investment in digital transformation.
“Bringing our teams together is about far more than planning for the year ahead,” said Mr Leaver.
“It’s about creating alignment around a shared ambition and ensuring we’re building brands that continue to lead the industry.
“We’re entering one of the most exciting periods in our history, with upcoming major brand activity across Contiki, Trafalgar and Uniworld, alongside significant investment in digital capabilities and customer experience.
“The energy and momentum across our APAC business is incredibly exciting, and it’s fantastic to see that firsthand.”
The conference featured strategic planning sessions, brand workshops, leadership presentations and cross-functional collaboration designed to accelerate growth across the region.
“This is an exciting moment for our region. Over the past year we’ve been investing heavily in our brands, our people and our customer experience,” said Toni Ambler, Managing Director, Oceania.
“Bringing together more than 110 colleagues from across APAC alongside Carl demonstrates the importance of this market and the confidence we have in the opportunities ahead.”
The gathering also provided another opportunity to celebrate the opening of TTC Tour Brands’ new Sydney headquarters, designed to support greater collaboration across the company’s portfolio of travel brands while providing a modern workplace for its Australian team.
The conference reinforced TTC Tour Brands’ continued investment in the Asia-Pacific market as the company prepares to deliver its next phase of growth and innovation across its global portfolio.
