Virgin Voyages is turning up the heat on its music-themed cruises, announcing two dazzling headliners for its 2025 Celebration Voyages and revealing a new concept for 2026: the Red Hot Sailing Club Voyage.

British pop legend Melanie C—best known as Sporty Spice from the Spice Girls—will headline a five-night sailing departing Lisbon on 22 July 2025 aboard Scarlet Lady. The voyage will call in Porto and La Coruña before wrapping up in Portsmouth, UK, offering Sailors a blend of seaside charm, cultural gems and high-energy entertainment at sea. Melanie C, now an acclaimed DJ and solo artist, will take to the decks with an electrifying set filled with ‘Girl Power’ nostalgia.

Meanwhile, disco queen Kathy Sledge—of Sister Sledge fame—will headline a special 11-night Celebration Voyage from Athens on 18 May 2025 aboard Resilient Lady. Known for timeless hits like We Are Family and He’s the Greatest Dancer, Sledge will bring her iconic vocals to a journey through some of the Mediterranean’s most storied ports including Istanbul, Ephesus, Santorini, Rhodes, Mykonos and Crete.
Both artists are part of the Virgin Music Group family, adding an authentic touch to Virgin Voyages’ commitment to celebrating music, community and unforgettable experiences at sea.

These 2025 sailings mark the final chapter of the Celebration Voyages series before they evolve into the Red Hot Sailing Club in 2026. The inaugural Red Hot Sailing Club Voyage will depart Miami on 12 March 2026 aboard Brilliant Lady, continuing the brand’s legacy of bringing big beats and bold personalities to the high seas.

“These incredible sailings not only reinforce Virgin’s standing as an iconic company rooted in music,” said Jamie Douglas, Director of Immersive Experiences, “but also serve as a love letter to our epic community of loyal Sailors worth celebrating every day.”
