The horrifying incident took place at Kalispell Airport in Montana yesterday with black smoke billowing over the city.
The plane was taxing for take-off when it burst into flames, with the fire spreading onto the infield of the runway. It then crashed into a second plane, which was stationary and unoccupied.
Two people onboard the first plane suffered minor injuries with two others walking away unharmed.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration.
