Venice and the Mediterranean Sea‘ is a new cruise package in 2026 that brings Uniworld’s seven-night immersive ‘Venice and the Jewels of the Veneto’ itinerary together with seven-nights on Seabourn Quest sailing the ‘Adriatic and Grecian Gems’ between Venice and Athens.

It is the first time that luxury river and ocean cruise brands have collaborated to offer two distinct yet complementary cruises within one package.

“Our agents tell us that they are already combining Mediterranean cruises with our boutique river cruises so this was a no-brainer of an idea,” said Alice Ager, Managing Director for Uniworld, Australia & New Zealand.

“We are thrilled to make this partnership official and hope that this the first of many combo cruises to come.”

The partnership comes following Uniworld-commissioned customer research that showed 85% of its customer base had also experienced ocean cruising, with Seabourn featuring highly as a favoured brand.

“This is a beautiful proposition offering the finest river and ocean cruising available in one trip and I think our agents will love this and I anticipate these first packages will sell really quickly,” said Alex Pikardt, Senior Sales Director ANZ for Seabourn.

Dates for this 15-day combo are July 5 and August 30, 2026, and will showcase the very best of Venice and the Venetian lagoon, including the colourful islands of Burano, Mazzorbo and Torcello.

Included experiences such as an exclusive, after hours, private visit to St Mark’s Basilica and a private wine tasting at Dominico di Baglio, one of the oldest wine estates in Europe, are included.

Private coach transfers from S.S. La Venezia to embark the Seabourn Quest are included with only a short 20-minute transfer.

Prices for ‘Venice & the Mediterranean Sea’ start from $11,400 per person twin share in a Classic cabin/OceanView suite. The 18-day ‘Slovenia, Venice & the Mediterranean Sea’ itinerary starts from $13,049 pp (Classic/OceanView).
