A 138-day world cruise sailing from Miami to Lisbon in 2029 will visit 58 destinations across 31 countries and territories, including 32 islands and more than 25 UNESCO World Heritage sites.
‘World Cruise: Iconic Islands & Remote Horizons’ will depart on January 7, 2029, aboard Seabourn Quest, covering more than 32,000 nautical miles before arriving in Lisbon on May 26.
The itinerary will cross the Americas, South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, the Indian Ocean, Africa and Europe, combining major ports with more remote destinations including Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas Islands, Praslin in the Seychelles, Antsiranana in Madagascar, Akaroa in New Zealand and Burnie in Tasmania.
Other calls include Bora Bora, Easter Island and Zanzibar, while UNESCO World Heritage sites along the route include Easter Island, Fiordland National Park, the Stone Town of Zanzibar and the Sacred City of Kandy.
“This voyage combines globally celebrated destinations with some of the world’s most remote and fascinating places, creating opportunities for deeper discovery and meaningful cultural connection,” said Mark Tamis, Seabourn President.
Twenty extended stays are scheduled during the voyage, including eight overnight calls in Lima, Easter Island, Bora Bora, Bali, Singapore, Sydney, Zanzibar and Cape Town.
Further extended visits are planned for destinations including Cartagena, Auckland, Napier, Melbourne, Portland, Adelaide, Busselton, Fremantle, Colombo, Victoria, Walvis Bay and Las Palmas.
Optional land programs will allow guests to add experiences beyond the cruise itinerary, including the Galápagos Islands, Machu Picchu, Uluru, the Taj Mahal and African safari destinations.
Guests sailing the full world cruise will also receive an included two-day, one-night program in Bali featuring cultural and culinary experiences and visits to local communities.
Another exclusive event is planned in Cape Town, with after hours access to the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa accompanied by regional food, entertainment and views across the city.
The onboard program will include destination focused talks, guest speakers through Seabourn Conversations, culinary events, cultural performances and entertainment connected to the regions visited.
Seabourn Quest has recently completed a dry dock refurbishment covering suites, public spaces, dining venues and spa areas ahead of the world cruise program.
Full world cruise guests will receive a range of additional inclusions, including business class air, a one night pre-cruise hotel stay in Miami, unlimited laundry and an upgraded Wi-Fi package.
Shipboard credit of up to $US4,000 per Veranda Suite and up to $US8,000 for Penthouse Suites and above is also included, along with a reduced 50% deposit and commemorative gifts.
For travellers unable to undertake the complete 138 days, a selection of extended segments will also be offered, with further details to be announced.
Bookings are now open, with a 10% early booking saving available on the full world cruise and eligible segments reserved by September 17.
