Fans of the Wizarding World will soon be able to step inside the magic, with Harry Potter: The Exhibition set to open in Sydney on 14 May 2026 at Paddington Pavilion at Sydney Olympic Park.
The touring exhibition celebrates the characters, stories and settings from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts film series, as well as elements from the stage production Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Tickets will go on sale on 26 March, with presale access available from 24 March for visitors who join the waitlist.
The immersive experience features a series of themed galleries showcasing authentic props, original costumes and interactive installations from the films. Visitors begin the journey with a display of a first edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, before entering a multimedia theatre that connects the stories from page to screen.

Several spaces recreate iconic locations from the Wizarding World, including the Great Hall and a gallery dedicated to the four Hogwarts houses. Visitors can explore the house crests displayed in stained glass designs created especially for the exhibition.
Interactive classroom areas allow guests to take part in magical lessons inspired by Hogwarts. Experiences include brewing potions, planting mandrakes in the Herbology greenhouse and using a digital wand to practise spells from Defence Against the Dark Arts.
