The global success of the new Wuthering Heights film is inspiring a surge of interest in walking holidays in the Yorkshire Dales.
European walk operator On Foot Holidays is reporting a rise in inquiries, particularly from Australia, following the casting of Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi in the lead roles.

On Foot Holidays offers a seven-night self-guided walking holiday through Yorkshire Dales National Park, affectionately known across Great Britain as “God’s own country”.
The route winds through unspoilt villages, drystone walls and dramatic moorland, taking in highlights including the ruins of Fountains Abbey, the natural rock formations of Brimham Rocks and the market town of Settle before finishing at Ingleborough, one of Yorkshire’s three peaks.
Graded medium-hard, the walk involves three to seven hours of walking each day between May and October.
Guests stay in country pubs and comfortable B&Bs along the route, with two French-chef-run establishments among the dining highlights. All luggage is transferred daily, meaning walkers carry only a day pack.
The seven-night Yorkshire Dales holiday is priced from £1,055 (approx. $AU2,000) per person twin share. The package includes seven nights accommodation, seven breakfasts, local transfers and all luggage transfers.
Travellers who book before April 30 save five per cent using quote code YOD5.
