East Coast Car Rentals has become one of the first car rental brands in Australia to offer PayPal Pay in 4, allowing customers to split eligible bookings into four interest-free fortnightly instalments.
Ben Whitmore, East Coast Car Rentals CMO, said the launch responded directly to how Australians were managing their budgets.
“We know Australians are being more conscious about how and when they spend their money. The introduction of PayPal Pay in 4 gives our customers greater flexibility and control over their budgets, allowing them to secure their vehicle when they need it while spreading the cost across manageable instalments,” Mr Whitmore said.
The new payment option comes as household budgets remain under pressure, with more Australians looking for flexible ways to manage travel costs without cancelling holidays, road trips or family visits.
East Coast Car Rentals has 14 locations across Australia and holds the 2026 ProductReview.com.au Award for Best Direct Car Hire, its sixth win to date, alongside multiple wins in the 2025 Finder Customer Satisfaction Awards.
