MSC Cruises is launching a next-generation wellness concept across its fleet throughout 2026.
The line is transforming the traditional cruise spa into a comprehensive wellness and beauty destination combining luxury spa rituals, advanced skincare technologies and medical wellness services.
Georg Schmickler, MSC Cruises Senior Vice President Onboard Revenues, said today’s travellers wanted to return home feeling better than when they left.
“Our vision is to create the most complete wellness experience at sea, combining relaxation, beauty, recovery and self-care in one destination. Whether a guest is seeking rejuvenation, advanced skincare, restorative therapies or simply a moment of calm, MSC Aurea Spa now offers an experience comparable to the world’s leading wellness retreats,” Mr Schmickler said.

New additions to the MSC Aurea Spa experience include AI-powered skin analysis offering personalised treatment recommendations, a Japanese Head Spa scalp and hair ritual rolling out fleetwide from summer 2026, advanced hydro-microdermabrasion skincare treatments using Opatra London products and professional teeth whitening delivered by qualified specialists.
Medical wellness treatments including IV therapy, aesthetic injectables and dermal fillers performed by licensed professionals will be available on select ships from summer 2026, beginning in North America.
New barbering services, ear piercing, a curated wellness tea service and an exclusive welcome wellness pochette for select spa guests complete the expanded offering.
