Seabourn has unveiled The Ruby Collection, a curated series of 54 voyages celebrating the line’s 40th anniversary.
Setting sail in 2o28, the collection spans the cruise line’s five-ship ocean and expedition fleet across the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Southeast Asia, Japan, Alaska, Northern Europe, the Arctic and Antarctica.
Mark Tamis, Seabourn President, said the collection reflected the same pioneering spirit that launched the line in 1988.
“Our journey began when we redefined cruising with the world’s first fleet of luxury small ships, designed to feel like private yachts. As we celebrate 40 years of exploration, that same pioneering spirit shapes The Ruby Collection,” Mr Tamis said.
The centrepiece of the collection is the 120-day ‘Cape to Cape’ World Cruise, departing January 7, 2028 aboard Seabourn Quest, traversing more than 26,000 nautical miles across 58 destinations in 23 countries.
Complimentary expedition-style experiences led by an 18-person expedition team will be included for the first time as part of a World Cruise itinerary.

The 96-day ‘Grand Expedition: Pole to Pole’ departs August 16, 2028 aboard Seabourn Venture, sailing from the High Arctic to Antarctica across 147 degrees of latitude and more than 20,500 nautical miles through 14 countries and territories.
New for 2028 are port calls at Taichung and Tainan in Taiwan, Petersburg and Valdez in Alaska, the Faroe Islands village of Tvøroyri and Cape Clear Island in Ireland.
A voyage timed to Taiwan’s Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival and an eight-day pre-cruise Denali Experience in Alaska are among the standout new experiences.
The Yachtsman Collection revisits the line’s founding vision with intimate Caribbean and Mediterranean sailings calling at secluded harbours, including a New Year’s Day Caviar in the Surf celebration where Seabourn Ovation and Seabourn Quest converge at Carambola Beach in St Kitts.
All Ruby Collection voyages are now open for booking.
