A game-changing business intelligence tool is opening up new growth opportunities for Travellers Choice members.

Unveiled this month, the award-winning group’s new Member Performance Summary (MPS) dashboard has been developed in partnership with its preferred suppliers.

It enables agency owners to view and analyse in-depth sales data based on accurate figures updated by preferred partners.

The information is then easily segmented, including by product type, destination and supplier.

Each agency can also track sales trends across specific timelines and benchmark its performance – including its support for preferred partners – against peers, as well as the overall network.

Nicola Strudwick, General Manager – Sales (left), says the innovative dashboard delivers “timely, relevant and actionable insights” that empower Travellers Choice members to make more informed data-driven decisions.

“We have given independent businesses the ability to understand their individual strengths and weaknesses, recognise growth opportunities and pinpoint market trends faster and more accurately than ever before,” said Ms Strudwick.

“We are already seeing our members respond by realigning their sales and marketing efforts in ways that boost their bottom lines.

“Their actions are also helping optimise the overall financial performance of Travellers Choice, which of course returns profits entirely to its member shareholders.”

Jenny Cooper, Owner of Queanbeyan City Travel & Cruise (main image), says the sophistication of the MPS dashboard and the level of transparency it offers is “a game changer”.

“Having this level of disclosure available allows us to be proactive, strategic and focused on where the opportunities for growth truly sit,” said Ms Cooper.

“When speaking with our travel agency friends aligned with other consortia, it’s also become clear that this level of insight and visibility is not something many have access to.”

Rowena Barnes, Owner of Triple R Travel, says the dashboard’s “intuitive and easy-to-navigate” design ensured it had become an invaluable tool for confidently crafting “outstanding insight”.

“Well-designed graphs and grid tables make complex sales data easy to read and understand,” said Ms Barnes.

“We can instantly see our progress with all preferred suppliers, identify opportunities and track results in real time.”

Ms Strudwick praised Technology Partners Insights and the group’s preferred supplier partners for their commitment to the MPS project.

“Suppliers have been instrumental in the successful development of the dashboard, with many adjusting their own reporting systems to align to Travellers Choice’s purpose-built template,” she added.

“By generously investing their time, expertise and resources they have not only enhanced the support and insights we offer our members but also strengthened our long-standing partnerships.”
