LATAM Airlines Brazil will introduce Embraer E195-E2 aircraft during the fourth quarter, supporting connectivity across its domestic network.
The airline has placed a firm order for 24 aircraft, with the first arrivals expected late this year.
Each aircraft will accommodate 136 passengers, with two seats on each side of the aisle. Up to 20 premium economy seats will be available, depending on the configuration, offering additional legroom, greater recline and personalised onboard service.
Seats throughout the aircraft will include adjustable headrests, reclining backrests, personal device holders and USB C charging ports.
LATAM Pass members will also receive complimentary internet access through SES satellite technology during eligible flights.
Passengers can access LATAM Play using their personal devices, with more than 2,000 hours of entertainment. The library includes 300 films, more than 1,000 television episodes, more than 900 music albums, children’s programmes and reading material.
Paulo Miranda, Vice President of Customers at LATAM Airlines Group, said the aircraft would retain the airline’s existing service approach while adding updated comfort, connectivity and technology across domestic journeys in Brazil.
