Azamara Cruises will introduce 36 new AzAmazing Evenings in 2027, expanding its destination focused evening program to 121 experiences across the year.
The collection will include 101 shoreside events and 20 onboard cultural programs, spanning destinations in Hawai’i, South America, Southeast Asia and Northern Europe.
Cruises of nine nights or longer will feature an included AzAmazing Evening ashore, while guests on seven and eight night itineraries will experience cultural programming onboard.
Among the new additions is an evening at Honolulu’s Hawaii Theatre featuring four time Grammy Award winner Kalani Pe’a for guests sailing on the Pacific Islands itinerary between Oahu, Kauai and Bora Bora.
In Rio de Janeiro, guests will experience Brazilian music and dance at Pier Mauá, including Samba de Gafieira, Frevo, Capoeira, live percussion and a Carnival themed finale.
Ha Long Bay will host a theatrical production combining Vietnamese music, contemporary dance and 3D mapping, while a Cork experience will take guests to Midleton Distillery for a private tour, whiskey tasting, canapés and traditional Irish music.
In Tallinn, guests will attend a performance by the Estonian National Male Choir at the Estonian National Opera, with a repertoire spanning Gregorian chants, folk music, classical works and contemporary compositions.
Dondra Ritzenthaler, Azamara Cruises CEO, said the expanded program was designed to deepen guests’ connection with destinations after dark.
“Our new 2027 collection offers guests even more unforgettable performances, local traditions, and meaningful cultural moments that allow them to connect more deeply with the communities they visit even after the sun has set,” Ms Ritzenthaler said.
For travel advisors, the expanded program adds another differentiator to Azamara’s 2027 itineraries, particularly for clients looking for cultural experiences bundled into their cruise holiday.
